About
Modern Classic Gaming was launched for one simple reason: My love and passion for classic video games and retro console systems.
I was a child of the early 1970′s, so I’ve been around gaming and consoles for over 30+ years now.
As you will see by going around my site, I’ve got a ton of classic video game stuff in my personal gaming collection ranging from Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and Sega.
I’m also into modern gaming as well with systems like the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS Lite.
Since I’m a web designer and programmer by trade, which helps to pay the bills and feed my game collecting, I figured it was time for me to put up a website dedicated to my collection.
I’ve also added some classic video games recreated in Flash that you can play on my site as well.
When the mood strikes me, I’ll be writing modern and classic game reviews, posting random gaming industry news and I might even have friends of mine who are also into gaming guest write some blog posts too.
My goal at Modern Classic Gaming is simple: Paying tribute to the Golden Age of Classic Gaming, Arcade Games and Console Systems.
