Wireless Wooden Stratocaster Replica
August 28th, 2009 by Sean
The latest Xbox 360 guitar controller from Mad Catz, first announced during E3, is like normal Rock Band instruments, except made of wood. In other words, it’s like a real Fender guitar, except without strings:
I actually have a real Fender Strat Sunburst guitar made in Fullerton, CA (USA Model). I’d love to get one of these so I better start saving up for it.
Check out the video below of it in action:
At $300.00 USD, it’s a little pricey, but considering it’s made of real wood, has a real Fender paint job and basically a real guitar less strings, it’s worth it.

Guitar Hero Metallica Cyanide – Xbox 360
July 8th, 2009 by Sean
My buddy Brandon came over last Friday (July 3) and we played some Guitar Hero Metallica on my Xbox 360 and it was decided to record a video of the gameplay.
I apologize in advance for the auto focusing going on in the video. I’ll turn that off for the next gaming video.
Moving along, here is the Metallica Guitar Hero song Cyanide on Hard:
Almost had 100% but ended up with 99%. Missed a note right around 3:22 in the video. Eh, will get it next time.
Some other Guitar Hero stats to mention were a 461 note streak, 5 star rating and a final score of 389,747. Not too bad.
I plan on recording some other gaming videos, so if you have requests, leave them in the comments. Enjoy the video.

Microsoft XBLA honoring Michael Jackson
June 28th, 2009 by Sean
We’re all still reeling from the passing of the King of Pop, but fortunately, Microsoft’s got a nice memorial for Michael Jackson up on Xbox Live:
This weekend only, the Video Marketplace is giving away the full, ten-minute version of MJ’s classic “Thriller” music video for your viewing pleasure.
Yep, the greatest music video of all time is free to download until the end of the day today.
Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles
November 27th, 2008 by Sean
In the video below, we get to experience two of my favorite things in life, Radio Controlled cars and retro game music mashed together:
I wonder how long it took to put the classic Nintendo Mario Bros. theme together with bottles?
I’m also not sure if this real or fake. You be the judge. Either way it’s cool.
Nintendo vs. Sega EP
October 1st, 2008 by Sean
Thanks to the folks over at the RAC Agency, we can now rock out to the short musical tribute titled “Nintendo vs. Sega EP”:

Apparently they created this EP to show appreciation for the music made from these classic gaming consoles.
Here are the songs included on the “Nintendo vs. Sega EP” they created:
- Super Mario Bros (RAC Mix)
- Sonic: Labyrinth Zone 5 (RAC Maury Mix)
- A Link To The Past (RAC Mix)
- Sonic: Spring Yard Zone (RAC Maury Mix)
Taking classic Nintendo or Sega game music and turning it into a modern piece of win, now that was a cool idea.
You can download the EP by visiting this link.
If for some reason you can’t download the zip file, let me know as I have it archived and can provide you a download link.

Call of Duty 4 Gun Sounds
August 5th, 2008 by Sean
This CoD4 video apparently only took a few hours to make using Sony Vegas for the video parts and FL Studio for the music parts:
I’m sure a good friend of mine who is really into First Person Shooter (FPS) games will enjoy this video too

String Quartet: Legend of Zelda Medley
May 9th, 2008 by Sean
Hey Nintendo fans, check out this amazing video I found while surfing around on YouTube:
Apparently this melody was put together for a Senior Cello Recital at James Madison University back in March 2006. I love how classical this medley sounds.
Zelda Theme On Dual Guitars
March 3rd, 2008 by Sean
A few weeks ago I posted a video of Zack Kim playing the Super Mario Bros. theme song on dual guitars.
In that post I had mentioned that Zack also did the Zelda Theme song too. Check it out:
This kid is awesome! I really enjoy watching him tap through these Nintendo classic theme songs.
