Play Retro Arcade Games

Here at Modern Classic Gaming we really enjoy playing retro video games and if you’re reading this post, then so do you.
With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to bring back those fond memories of endless hours spent at the local video arcade playing games as a kid.

That’s right, we’ve added our very own coin-op game room complete with our collection of classic arcade games remade in Flash.
Currently you can play Asteroids, Pac-Man and Space Invaders anytime you want and you don’t even need quarters. All our games are set on free play.
Make sure JavaScript is enabled and you have the latest Flash Player installed on your computer to play our games.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy our new classic game room.
As we like to say around the Modern Classic Gaming camp: The game is never over.
This is awesome! I haven’t played Asteroids in years. I’ll be spending a lot of time in your game room for sure. So much for working.
I also noticed that my score was saved on the high score screen, just like a real arcade game. Very cool.
Kudos to you guys. Great job!
Thanks Eric. Glad you like the games.
Indeed, high scores are saved on all the games right now.
Depending on how things go, we might reset the high scores daily or weekly to give other people a chance to get a high score.
We have other games in the works too but it might be awhile before they appear in our game room.
Thank you for making these games available to play. I just finished playing Pac Man. It’s almost exactly like the original game. Excellent work. Not sure if you are taking requests but if so, maybe we can see Ms Pac Man too?
Hi Laura. You’re welcome for the games. We enjoy Pac-Man too, which is why it’s up on the site to play.
As for Ms Pac-Man, I’ll add it to our list of possibilities but I can’t say for sure if or when it will be created.
I now have another reason to visit your website. Asteroids! I just played it. So much fun and exactly like the real arcade game. Thank you for providing these fun games to play on your website.
@Billy: You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoy the classic games.
I also like Atari Asteroids. I have it on my Game Boy Advance on an Atari Arcade Compilation cartridge along with Missile Command and Tempest.
